KONAMI Struggles with Cross-play for eFootball 2023, Delaying Launch

Cross-play for eFootball 2023

Renan Galvani, a well-known gaming industry specialist, recently tweeted about the difficulties KONAMI is having with the introduction of the new cross-play technology. While KONAMI is still working on the functionality, crossplay is unlikely to be released until after the end of the eFootball pro competitions. This delay is due to the difficulty in locating a safe system, especially when playing against PC gamers who may be using broken or cheat systems.

Crossplay is a highly anticipated feature for eFootball 2023, which promises to be a significant release in the soccer gaming market. However, the delay in introducing crossplay has frustrated the fans and left them asking why. According to Galvani's recent tweet, KONAMI is having difficulty building a safe and secure crossplay mechanism, particularly for PC players.

Cheating in online gaming is not a new issue, and KONAMI is taking precautions to prevent any such difficulties in eFootball 2023. The success of the game will be determined by its capacity to provide a fair and enjoyable experience for all players, and crossplay is an important component of that. While some fans may be disappointed by KONAMI's delay in integrating crossplay, it is a vital step to ensure the game's long-term success.

Finally, while the crossplay feature in eFootball 2023 is highly anticipated, it is not without its limitations. Given the huge stakes involved in creating a successful soccer game in today's competitive industry, KONAMI's cautious approach is appropriate. Fans will have to wait a bit longer for crossplay, but the wait may be well worth it in the end.

PES 2021 FansServer 2022 V5.1

Update eFootball PES 2021 FansServer 2022 V5.1

Uptade eFootball PES 2021 FansServer 2022 (V5.1) by Dragovic & Jgames.

Current version: 5.1
Minimum version of Sider required: 7.0.0 +
Minimum version of Stadium-server required: Stadium-server 1.4.0

Missing choreography from teams like Atlanta, Hoffenheim, Leipzig, Wolfsburg, Augsburg, and others is included in this version. Since these teams don't have any rivalries, Dragovic has never featured them before, but now that he has established club tournament assignments, they will become active in the knockout stages of their own tournaments or UEFA events.

Added assignments for newly promoted teams as well.

The main feature of this update is the choreo for finals. So now the choreo will be neutral, as the stadium will be divided into two sections with generic choreos representing team colors.

Changelog v5.1
1. Generic Choreo for Finals
2. League Cup Assignments
3. Assignment for newly promoted teams
4. Added some choreos for missing teams

Disclaimer: All of the choreo files are the property of the stadium creators. Only the code is Dragovic's work. Furthermore, this mod is not intended for commercial use by any of the paid patches.

How to Install:
0. DELETE PREVIOUS FILES RELATED TO THIS MOD !!!
1. Download and install (if not already done) FansServer-5.0 here
2. Copy the "content & modules" folders to your Sider folder
3. Download FansServer-5.1 and overwrite files
4. Add
lua.module = "FansServer.lua"
in your sider.ini file ABOVE STADIUMSERVER.LUA

Mod originally is only compatible with VirtuaRED patch, Smoke Patch, and ICMP Patch since they use real IDs for Bundesliga. If you want to play with the Evo-web patch, then change the Bundesliga team IDs from ChoreoServer.lua with the ones in Evo-web.

eFootball 2022 Review: Maybe the Worst Football Game in Steam

eFootball 2022 Review

eFootball 2022 Review

The PES vs FIFA rivalry has been one of the greatest video game rivalries we ever saw, most of all because they have always been even, but this time we have a clear winner. eFootball 2022 has become one of the worst launches Konami has brought to us by a mile. Let me tell you, is not normal to reach the bottom of the Steam table and not even get 10 points in Metacritic among users; you need something bad to did this, something bad level Superman 64 or Ride to Hell: Retribution.

Let’s start with the first thing: the graphics. The graphics are one of the few strengths of the game… when they work well, of course. The new previews of the matches, the camera angles after a replay, the celebrations, make everything feel a little more natural and immersed than before, as it usually happens in a broadcast of a match, and during replays you can see the extend the game wants to reach in graphic fidelity… But these are the only good things about the graphics.

The new graphic motor, Unreal Engine 4, helped the game to become a meme: players spinning their heads after receiving a foul, players running like Naruto with dislocated shoulders, the ref melted on the grass, and the funniest one; every time a player tries to speak, shout or celebrate, they open their mouth like aliens which leave a weird image. Also, the players look ugly as hell, but the 2 best footballers in the world, Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi, had a special treatment since they look much worse than the others.

eFootball 2022 Review

Yeah, we can say that “graphics are not everything”, and it is almost true. In fact, the gameplay is as important as the graphics but here lies another issue, maybe the biggest one; Konami said that this new video game would be focused more on the gameplay, on the one-on-one clash, and everybody knows that the skills in football video games are important; what if I told you that you can’t do any skill or feints in the game? There are no feints in the game. Of course, they said that several mechanics would only be in future updates but that is no excuse, something like skills and feints must be in the game since the beginning. No bicycles, no taquitos, no enganches, the only thing you can do is passing the ball in a way that not even Guardiola or Luis Enrique would approve because is extremely imprecise. And by the way, forget about who is slow or who is fast, because the moment your player starts running, he turns into Sonic the Hedgehog running with crocs because is extremely hard to stop.

Defending in this game is a lottery, sometimes you are Thiago Silva and sometimes you are Titus Bramble. In previous games is easier to kick the ball out of danger with a defender, right? Well, in this game is easier to kick the attacker away from the ball because almost every single time you want to press, the defender goes to the attacker instead of the ball and while pressing (standing) the defender starts using his strength to gain possession, that is normal, that is good… But what is not good is that using this, can result between hitting the opponent, tackling him, or hitting him with a punch. These aren’t intended to be fair, but the animation glitches make it look like they do that.

Lastly, let’s talk about the game modes; everything was planned to start with an exhibition mode with 9 licensed soccer teams, right? But, when you start the game for the first time, you are introduced with an Argentina vs Portugal, take advantage of that match because you will not see them again, but after that, we have a new event to increase our confusion; will be able to choose from an immense number of clubs to play online against other people: the English Premier League, the Serie A and Serie B from Italy, the Ligue 1 from France, the Liga BBVA, and the “Rest of the World” (includes FC Bayern and Zenit St. Petersburg), it also includes the Argentinian and Chilean leagues, some Peruvian teams and three Asian leagues.

But what is the problem? Well, the problems are that any of these teams are available for the Exhibition mode. Why? I don’t know why, nobody knows why. By the way, I almost forgot, once you have chosen a team in this online mode you will not be able to change it again, why? I don’t know.

If you start searching for a game in the online mode you can’t cancel it, because it does not recognize it. If you want to change the formation before the match you have to move each player one by one to the position you want, and good luck with that, because you can’t move a player to a position he does not play (for example you can’t move a player from the defensive midfielder role to the attacking midfielder role).

We know that this game will be free to play and we can’t be mad at that, but there are a lot of things that must be fixed in this video game, you can’t release an incomplete video game even if it is free to play. And we know that Konami will make everything to fix this game because is a new chapter in their history they already apologized to everyone on Twitter after receiving their feedbacks and petitions and they will start updating the game so they can fix each error in it.

eFootball 2022 Review: Maybe the Worst Game in Steam

The first impressions of this game were horrible, everybody knows that; but maybe we can witness a second start, just like No Man’s Sky, a game that started horrible and later had a “second coming”. So, let’s cross our fingers as we hope that eFootball 2022 will have its own second coming.

eFootball Master League Will Be Available As Paid DLC

eFootball "PES 2022" Master League As Paid DLC

eFootball "PES 2022" Master League As Paid DLC

Pro Evolution Soccer's "Master League" debuted more than two decades ago. Players must build and manage their own squad in this game. This mode has become significant to PES fans because you may play it indefinitely - there is no ultimate goal; you simply keep developing your squad until it becomes unstoppable.

Master League will remain available despite the modifications and the fact that the game is now free to play. Konami disclosed a little more about the monetization of the upcoming eFootball, stating that the famous Master League will be returning and that those interested in purchasing it separately, like other single-player modes, could do so.

According to the official Twitter page, the DLC may not be accessible when the game is first released "will be sold in the future as optional DLC on all compatible devices."

Other offline game mods are also slated to become optional DLC, so it's not only Master League that will be accessible.

For the time being, that's all we know about the Master League DLC. We still don't know when will it be made accessible or how much it will cost.

PES 2021 Season Update Review

PES 2021 Season Update Review

Season Update Review by PES Modding

As you may be aware, as of the 15th September 2020 PES received a new season update in lieu of releasing a fully-fledged title like it’s closest competitor FIFA 21. While this was initially seen as a shocking choice by developers Konami, in light of the recent outbreak and the impact that it has had both on the games industry and the world of football, we can see the logic behind polishing last year’s edition and making as many resources available for the development of next year’s title.

Many assumed that this game would be an arbitrary list of changes that wouldn’t change the overall dynamic, gameplay, or aesthetic of the previous title and for the most part, they were right. This update controls expectation by not forcing players into paying the full retail price for a rushed title but ultimately, it feels like the same game from last year that had begun to feel cumbersome and repetitive with little offered to change fans' opinion.

What’s New

The update does bring along a number of new features to the game that may entice fans to keep playing this one instead of jumping ship to FIFA. Alongside the obvious update to the team’s rosters throughout the transfer period, the game also changes gameplay with subtle little tweaks. The aspects of gameplay that once caused frustration are now much tighter and control exponentially better than before. The finesse dribbling, advanced shooting, and collision system have all been given a facelift, leading to much more responsive and authentic matches, leading too much less clunky tackles or wild shots over the bar.

The AI has also been given a little bit of a debuff, meaning that if you nail these advanced skills, you’ll be in on goal with much more frequency but aside from that, there isn’t much else to say. PES has managed to retain its partnerships with teams such as Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Manchester United and Juventus in the licensing department but aside from that, that’s where the praise stops

Problems Persist

Even with the new season update, there are still the same underlying issues that this game fails to resolve. The UI for this title remains as obtuse as it ever has been, making menuing a chore at the best of times. Master League and all other single-player game modes have remained untouched in this update, in keeping with the notion that PES is an online-focused title. However, this would all be fine if the PES Ultimate Team equivalent ‘Myclub’ delivered some new content. Sadly though, aside from some new legends packs and more chances to earn coins, it remains completely identical. Although, it is quite nice that we don’t have to start from scratch again.

As Expected

Score: 6.5/10

On a base level, you have to give Konami a lot of respect for not giving into temptation and releasing a rushed full title. It perhaps goes to show that the company is looking to change it’s ways since the whole Hideo Kojima debacle and shed its ties to corruption and corporate greed and by all accounts, we commend that. However, this update is mediocre at best. There is no unique aspect to draw players back in, there’s no marque feature that will draw new players to the game. All this update does is neatly repackage what you already own and have you pay £25.00 for the privilege of owning it for another year. If you’re a die-hard PES fan, we're sure you won’t mind parting with a smaller sum to keep playing online with your buddies but as a neutral in the PES/FIFA debate, it’s hard to argue on this side of PES this year.
