Firstly the install files are different from the earlier pack so I recommend you remove the old 'use' folder from your Content/Commentary-Server directory. - predator002"

HOW TO USE:

So in terms of installation, the files from the download just need to be extracted to your PES\Data directory. Once you have done that PES will instantly treat the commentary as a real commentary language so you can find US-English as a selectable option in the language settings. But most people will want to use it as Commentary Server language so following the Commentary Server 0.5 instructions you can assign 'use' to teams or tournaments now.

How to install:

Ensure Commentary Server 0.5 by nesa24/juce is installed and working correctly.

Download this pack and extract contents to your PES/Data directory.

You can now edit your 'content/commentary-server/map_competitions.txt' or 'map_teams.txt' file adding 'use' as an assignable language.

In addition to the files being different, also some improvements to the commentary have been made:

When a match has already started, the correct comments will be said by Jon

When a substitution is taking place, the correct comments will be said by Jon

The number of players with callnames has increased by 4442 to 16204.

Jon's team callnames now include all English and Scottish clubs.

Jim's callnames from the Peter Drury pack now are here too. So he knows all teams and has a massive player callname set.

English Commentary Callnames Update - V12 - Last Updated 03/02/2023

For PES2021 & PES2020

The latest update adds 2022 new players. First, he created the ones that could be based on the requests Predator002 received. Numerous requests were just too challenging to get the correct sound on, but Predator002 made every effort. 

Second, he included in the pack all the players whose names could be found in the eFootball 2023 database. Predator002 hadn't actively looked at the eFootball database before this release because he had been concentrating on the PES21/PES20 players. If you use accurate player ids in your databases, the call names should play automatically. 

Just a note regarding these additions, due to the number of players in this update and all the associated audio that goes with them, Predator002 has not had any time to identify all their full names which would be used in the selector in Edit Mode. So these additions all are associated with their surname. So in edit mode, there will be duplicate names however each is individual to the correct player so don't worry. Finding surnames for 2022 players isn't a quick job. Especially when PesMaster has the names linked to ID, but no way of actually exporting these names from the website annoyingly.

UPDATE: eFootball Pro EvolutionSoccer 2021 English Callname pack released V10.

A new update released. English Commentary Callnames Update - V10 - Last Updated 07/10/2022, For PES 2021 & PES 2020. It contains a massive chunk of audio provided by K. Fischer so thanks you to your kind self. He had names, shooting call names, Jim call names. A massive amount so it helped expand the variety of several players along with helping in the creation of new ones. Predator002 also added additional names and a variety of his own based on other feedback and spare time. There are no team additions this time, just players.

PES 2021 Jon Champion Commentary for Commentary Server - V1

PES 2021 Jon Champion Commentary by Predator002

After spending months getting this file up and running, he devoted his time listening to each comment and compiling the greatest comments from Pes 2015. "Predator002" was finally able to get these files up and running thanks to the "nesa24" comment server.

As you can expect, this is a lengthy process, and despite the efforts, even at this level, things aren't flawless, but it is quite useful.

In terms of remarks, Peter utilized a variety of styles that John had never discussed in Pes2015. In this package, these comments are either blank or have been replaced with better comments of different kinds.

Most of the time, a lot of trial and error, but I'll try to fill in those comments as I make further updates.

- Predator002

First, as indicated in the download article, Predator002 would recommend updating the lua module to include the 50_Main files. He also included how to enable the comment server to utilize tournament IDs instead of team IDs as a personal modification. Peter / Jim can comment on league games, whereas John / Jim can comment on cup games in this configuration.

Usage Notes:

- Designed for Pes2020/Pes2021 with Commentary Server installed.

- Contains comments and callnames from Jon Champion and Jim Beglin.

Additional Information:

- Update 'commentary-server.lua' by adding the following entries to the local patterns: -

- "sound\\awb\\50_MAIN.awb",​

- "sound\\acb\\50_MAIN.acb",​

- You can set Commentary Server to use tournament ids instead of team ids by: -

- Opening 'commentary-server.lua' module in notepad and replace the 1 occurrence of ctx.home_team with ctx.tournament_id.​

How to install:

- Ensure Commentary Server by nesa24 is installed.

- Download and extract contents to your content\commentary-server directory.

- When installed, expect to find a 'use' folder inside the 'commentary-server' directory.

- You can now your 'commentary-server.txt' file adding 'use' as an assignable language.
