Step 1: Download the Face File
To begin, you will need to find and download the face file that you wish to install.
Step 2: Copy the CPK File to the Appropriate Folder
After downloading the CPK file, locate the folder where your PES 2017 game is installed on your computer. The default installation path for the game is "...Pro Evolution Soccer 2017\download". Open the "download" folder, and you should see several other folders and files related to the game. This is where you will need to copy the downloaded CPK file.
To do this, simply right-click on the CPK file and select "Copy" from the context menu. Then, navigate to the "...Pro Evolution Soccer 2017\download" folder, right-click inside the folder, and select "Paste" from the context menu. This will copy the CPK file to the appropriate folder, making it ready for the next step.
Step 3: Use the DpFileList Generator Tool
Now that you have copied the CPK file to the appropriate folder, it's time to use the "DpFileList Generator" tool to add the CPK file to your game. The DpFileList Generator is a popular tool used by the PES modding community to manage custom content in the game.
If you haven't already, you will need to download the DpFileList Generator tool from a reputable source. Once you have downloaded and installed the tool on your computer, follow the steps below:
- Launch the DpFileList Generator tool.
- Click on the "Add CPK File" button.
- Navigate to the "...Pro Evolution Soccer 2017\download" folder.
- Select the CPK file that you copied in Step 2.
- Click on the "Generate DpFileList.bin" button.
- Wait for the tool to generate the DpFileList.bin file.
- Once the generation is complete, click on the "Save" button to save the DpFileList.bin file.
- Congratulations! You have successfully added the CPK file to your PES 2017 game using the DpFileList Generator tool. The custom content should now be visible in your game, and you can start enjoying the new features and enhancements that it brings.
